課程概述 |
本課程以學生輪流上台發表學術演講為主軸,其他同學則需聽講並參予討論。每人每學期以演講一次為原則,並需擔任一次主持人,負責介紹當次演講者背景、演講主題、主持討論和掌控時間等工作。 |

課程目標 |
培養學生檢索、選擇、閱讀期刊論文與演講發表之能力, 同時參予其他同學之演講,藉以獲得學術研究之啟蒙。 |

課程要求 |
98學年度第一學期大四書報討論注意事項
1.每位同學必須依其興趣邀請一位相關領域老師（不限本系專任），對其報告論文之選擇、報告內容之組織、及報告技巧予以協助和指導。學生報告時請邀請指導老師出席。
2.論文之選擇應以2007年以後發表之生命科學相關領域之原創性研究文章 (original research paper，不得選擇review綜合論述或notes, short communication, letter to editor之類短篇文章），並須獲指導老師同意。論文題目應於10月6日中午12點以前登記並繳交該論文之pdf電子檔案，題目相同時以先登記者優先採用。
3.論文影本應於一週前送交書報討論主持老師每人一份。報告題目及中文摘要，應於前一週星期二中午12點前繳交助教，經確認格式無誤後，將張貼於四樓佈告欄專題討論項下。上課當天報告前將中文摘要 (需有指導老師簽名) 影印分發同學。摘要內容應包括：報告人姓名、報告時間、地點、指導老師、論文題目、期刊名（卷期、頁數），中文摘要，以及相關參考文獻。

5.報告人：每人報告時間25 ~ 30分鐘，發問及討論15 ~ 20分鐘。
6.主持人：前一週已報告之同學，負責於演講前以2-3分鐘介紹當週報告的同學背景(專長與題目)，演講後主持討論、提問及時間控制。若無人提問，主持人至少需提問一個問題。
7.聽講人：聽講同學應於課後交回評比表。
8.報告時請利用 PowerPoint 檔案輔助演講，字體和圖表均以清晰簡明為原則（如一張投影片只放一個圖或表為宜）。
9.學期成績，以專題論文報告之準備、現場之表現為主，出席、聽講、發問、及隨堂討論亦將列入考量。
10.表現不佳（成績低於70分）者必須於期末重講。
11.無故缺席者，一次扣總分5分，遲到一次扣總分一分，遲到20分鐘以上者，以無故缺席論。
